Community Highlights

Reston is designated as an Honorable Mention community due to its excellent trail system.

• 55 miles of paths connect all neighborhoods with schools, recreation areas, shopping centers, offices, hotels, restaurants, and transportation hubs. Reston was designed to allow all residents to reach a retail area and school within 10 minute walking distance, often without the need to cross a major road. The community has another 34 miles of trails in its current planning documents.
